NOMAC Management decided to implement information security management system in the entire organization. A gap analysis in this regard was conducted in 2018 to identify the gaps and plan the implementation project. The implementation was planned in phased manner to a select locations. Applicable corporate policies and procedures were revised, awareness sessions conducted and implementation begun. Moodle LMS (Learning Management System) was launched to provide awareness training to all employees of NOMAC. ACWA Power Cybersecurity plan was also a part of the ISMS implementation.
Certification Body TÜV Middle East (Member of TÜV NORD Group) audited the Information Security Management System of NOMAC to verify whether it meets the requirements of ISO 27001:2013 The objective is to award the TÜV NORD CERT certificates. The Certification Audit was completed successfully on 04/08/2019 The auditors have recommended to issue the certificate.
